I really suggest those like me to join this course

IGCSE Centre really opens my mind about the point to get full mark in the exam. My school never teaches as detailed and as specific as this course does. There are so many things I never knew and was being taught in the course. The technique to make a summary is really helpful. It was an easier way to learn English. The teacher always motivates us to do better. They're very professional in handling this. It's really recommended and very helpful! Thank you for giving me a higher level of confidence to do IGCSE! I really suggest those like me who didn't learn enough IGCSE at school, to join this course. It's really recommended! Thank you for all the motivation that you gave. Thank you so much again.

Complete and not boring explanations

I thank IGCSE Centre for their assistance in my 2015 IGCSE exam. My mock exam before was really poor. However, the revision from all 3 subjects had helped me a lot in terms of the complete explanations. I learnt a lot from the videos, I was able to do most of the questions for Chemistry and Physics (I expect to get A*) and for Biology I expect to get A.

  1. Hello IGCSE Team,
My name is Lia and in the May/June session I will be taking Math, Biology, Chemistry and Literature. I was wondering if you had any classes for the the practical parts in Chemistry and Biology ? Thank you

    • Hi Lia,
Yes, you would learn all the necessary skills for “Alternative of Practical” in the video tutorials. Just watch the preview above and you will find tutorials related to practical.

If you are a private candidate, this is the best for you since you do not have any access to any laboratory to learn the practical skills.

    • Hi Samriddhi,

  8. Hi
I have passed grade 11 and I want to dropout due to financial conditions and write Cambridge this year as a private candidate at a Cambridge facility. Do you recommend this? And I want to take on a degree in fashion in the US what Cambridge exam would you recommend and what subjects should I take?

    • Hi Youlanda,
Yes, definitely you can sit for the exam as private candidate whenever you are ready. However, most of the design subjects are not available for private candidate. The only one you could consider is Art and Design 0400. You also need: English, Maths, one of the science subject here: http://www.igcsecentre.com/what-is-igcse/

We also strongly suggest you to first find out what are the required subjects for the university that you want to apply.

    • Hi Rifa,
If you enrol some subjects this year, you could have better preparation from now and more time for other subjects later. Many of our candidates are enrolling starting from the beginning of year 10. They find our courses are helping them to understand better what the school is teaching. Thus, their results in school have improved. You can read the testimonials above.

The revision courses has ended. The next session would be in March-April 2017. No access will be granted after the closing date.

  19. If only I could afford the lessons. If you are unable to pay for these lessons could you share any other methods of getting A*s in my IGCSE examinations. I’m a 2017 May/June candidate. I hope you respond as quickly as possible, I’d really appreciate it. I take seven subjects which are : Mathematics, English as a first language, French as a foreign language, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and ICT.
    Thank you!

    • Hi Vitumbiko,
First of all, you must understand all the theories in the subjects. Next, learn how to apply the theories in the questions. Do lots of past papers, and refer to your reference books often when you face any problems.

  20. Dear IGCSE Team,
I am giving the examination during the Feb/March period. Since I have to sign up for these revision courses, I was wondering whether I would be able to access them only for the two month period, or for longer, through January and February too.

    Awaiting your response,
    Lots of love
    Antaraa.

  21. I’m considering to apply for your classes to prepare for Biology, Physics and Mathematics exams in May/June 2017. Prior to that, I wanted to know:

-When do the revision classes for mj2017 exams begin?
-Do we have to watch videos of lectures or are there interactive tutorials? PPT presentations?
-How long does the course take to complete?

    • Hello Hamza,
      1. The next revision session is March-April 2017.
      2. You will watch videos on the syllabus theories, application of the theories in exam questions, download practices to work on, and submit your essay for marking (for English subjects only).
      3. It would be 2 months. We will provide you a study timetable. Just follow through and you will finish everything in time.

  22. Hello,
So, I’m planning on asking my parents for this. I just wanted to know if I will be able to use the material in September and October, if I pay the price of two months now.
    Thank you.

  23. I have understood everything but it’s not clear to me where I can select which grade books to get? like I need 10th-grade books, will I get to select that after payment? will I get my books delivered by you or do I have to order through amazon? I will hopefully be joining in Feb.

    • Hi Sarah,
There are no selection for “books” available. If you register for the revision classes, you will watch all the tutorial online.

  24. Hello! If I apply now (I know it’s one month late), do I still pay for two months fee? Or just one month? > <

    Thank you!

  25. Hi IGCSE team,
I recently received my IGCSE results. I sat for May/June 2016 IGCSE exams, I passed but barely. I did much better in my mocks… I would like to retake my exams, is there a retake in May/June 2017?

    • Hi Usman,
Yes, you can register for re-sit in the May/June 2017 session. Please check on the exam registration dates with your school / exam centre.

  26. Hey team
My exams are this November and im quite nervous…..and jst a question do u guys have revision guide notes available?

  27. Dear IGCSE Team
Would i be able to complete the courses in time if i register for the course anytime between august end and september beggining.
Secondly how long would the 0500 reading course be.

  28. Dear IGCSE Team
When will the course for economics and computer science be available as I’m writing my computer science exam in the march series.
    Thank you

  29. Dear IGCSE Centre
Does the english reading course include sending sample answers to the examiner and getting graded from it or is it just the reading course alone that happens to have that advantage.
    Thank You

  30. I am so grateful to IGCSE center for making me a better teacher. Access to your numerous materials has been a wonderful opportunity for me and my students. Teacher has been so easy while learning has become more interesting to my students.
    Thanks so much.

  31. Hi igcse centre, I’m feeling very demotivated as I am getting no more than a 32 or 34 in igcse chemistry MCQs and I’m giving my board examination in October/November 16 so can you please help me with this issue

  32. I want to know
    MATHS CORE :F
    THAI FIRST LANGUAGE :F
    CORDINATED SCIENCE:(DOUBLE AWARD):EE
    TOUR TRAVEL:E
Are these considered as a passing grade, if I am just going to continue studying grade 11 and 12.
( I have already achieved 3 c grade in ICT Geography and English)

    • Hi Maya,
You may proceed to grade 11 and further. However, may we know if these are your IGCSE results or your school’s exam result?

  33. I am trying to decide if I should take a revision for English 0500 or now take 0510 as English Second Language ( I am not a native speaker, my school made me take the 0500 test and did not inform me that I could take 0510 instead) Now, if I take a revision test, will the university be sent both the original mark and the revision? Or If I now take 0510, can I select and send which exam results to be shared with university ? 4 taken in May 2016 -in fact 5 exam sets were taken in May but I want to hide the results of Eng 0500- and 1 taken in November 2016? Or will IGCSE send all 6 of my results to university so I can’t ”hide” my English as First Lang results?
