  1. Dear IGCSE Centre,
Thank you for all your hard work and helpfulness.
I was hoping that you could recommend to me any good A Level History coursebooks which i wanted to read, since i want to pursue History in the future. History is not availed at my school and that is why I thought you’ll would be able to help me.
I would also like to ask about the usefulness of Sociology in real life. I have been told it is only useful to join a Non-Governmental Organisation, but I wanted to be sure.
    Thank you so much.

    • Hello Dhruv,

      You are very much welcome.

We suggest that you search for suitable reference books on the Amazon UK site. You will find the same publishers who published the IGCSE books.

Studying Sociology will enable you to develop a deep understanding of modern societies and how they are changing. Jobs directly related are: Community development worker, International aid/development worker, Social researcher, and Advise worker. However, it certainly does not limit your career choice. It would also be useful in these kinds of jobs: Actuarial analyst, Human resources officer, Public relations officer, and UX analyst.

      Hope this helps.

    • Hello L,

General Paper (8001) and General Paper (8004) past papers are available for download. Furthermore, starting 2019, these are replaced by English General Paper (8021).

  2. Hello!
I know this is weird and odd but I just wanted to ask you that is your mark scheme for Accounting (9706), 2018, October-November series, Paper 31 correct? Because I think there is a problem in Question 3 Part b… the point related to additional depreciation on land and building… Can you please check it?
    Thank you!

  3. I wanted to know if it is prohibited to write answers as pointers rather than a aragrah? in A Levels Psychology (9990)

    • Hello Saiba,

Upon checking the Examiner’s Report, it states that candidates need to read the whole question carefully to ensure that their responses are fulfilling the demands of each one. For example in Paper 1, to achieve full marks the question must be addressed in full. The essay (final question) requires four evaluation points to be in depth (two strengths and two weaknesses) with at least one of these about the named issue.

We suggest that you download the Examiner’s Report here:

  4. Hello, is there any way i can download the past questions in bulk rather than downloading paper by paper? is there anyway i can download the entire math folder all at once?

    • Hello Danny,

We are currently working on to bring back the bulk downloading feature. Please kindly wait for our announcement by joining our newsletter. Thank you for your understanding.

  5. when I say this, I think that I speak for everyone, thank you so much for your relentless effects of getting this website up and running. We are truly grateful for all the help you have provided for all these years. Even though the bulk download was your best feature, due to certain circumstances, we understand that it cannot come back. Regardless, I would like to say thank you and this website has truly helped me excel in my IGCSE. Thanks once again!!!

  6. I and probably more ppl will not return to this website with absence of bulk download of past papers… I really needed.. this new platform isgood tho but earlier was better.. i knw about google drives and stuff.. but that feature was a must

  7. thank you for all of your hardwork ….. however is it possible to bring back the bulk download by January next year…. i am going to have AS level exam during the may june 2020 but my teacher has limit quotas to print for us and there might not be sufficient past paper for us to complete before exam…

    thank you

    • Hello there,

Thank you for appreciating our effort.

Unfortunately when we moved to this new platform, it does not have the bulk download feature. We suggest that you start downloading and printing the papers you need.

    • Hi Jake,

The previous platform was hosted on Google drive. However, our Google drive has become redundant due to the false report. We are no longer able to share our files via Google drive and all the files are no longer be publicly accessible.

We worked day and night trying to solve this issue, but to no avail. Finally we managed to build a new platform and make our library be accessible again, in order to continue helping candidates to get free access to our resources as soon as possible - because we noticed many parties were selling past exam papers when our library was not available.

Unfortunately this new platform does not have the bulk download feature. We appreciate your kind words thinking the previous feature was the best in helping candidates, parents, teachers, and schools around the world - we wish the ones who made the false report could finally realised this.

  8. I just wanted to speak on ( I would think ) everyone’s behalf……

how can I do it with this file system?

    • Hi Bob,

Congratulations on your achievement! Your parents must be proud of you. We wish you well in your future endeavours.

  11. Oh Man, your website makes all the resources so easily available and for download. It reminds me of the TV Series, ‘Breaking Bad’. Walter White destroyed good stuffs in his life and made life hell for everyone else around him. I hope you bring the downloading available soon. Your new platform reached a limit and caused problems, this shows how important and popular your downloads are. i subscribe to your newsletter and hope to hear good news soon.

    • Hello Joey,

Thank you for appreciating our efforts. Rest assured that we are working hard to fix our library of resources. Kindly wait for our announcement in our newsletter. Thank you for your understanding.

    Thank you.

    • Hello Sujata,

Unfortunately, we are still not able to share files and we do not have a fixed date as to when it will be available.

You may search for alternative sources of past papers. Kindly google them. We are not the only website that provides past papers. Thank you.

  13. Hi. I took IGCSE in May 2019. In some exams, when I ran out of working space, I just put a star mark and in a supplementary sheet wrote the question number correctly and continued my answer without indicating things like “continued”. Will the examiners be able to understand my answers?

    • Hi Pratip,

As long as it is fastened together with your question paper, and the answer is labelled according to the question number, examiners will be able to mark it accordingly.

      • Thank you. And when will the A Level question papers be brought back. I am very eager to know because I am starting my A Level shortly after June 12 when I will be done with IGCSE exam.

        • Hi Pratip,

We are still fixing it. However, we do not have fixed date as to when it will be available. Kindly subscribe to our newsletter for the announcement. Thank you for your patience.
