What do the revision courses cover?
You will have access to detailed revision notes as well as engaging video tutorials according to the latest syllabus. You also get downloadable exam-style assessment and past exam papers as practice. The A* model answers for the chosen past exam papers would also be provided as well as assistance with our subject matter experts during the Q&A sessions
How much time do I need to allocate for the revision course?
If you just follow through our timetable, each subject will take you around 1 hour a day. We do not encourage long hours of studying. You have the flexibility to pace yourself throughout the day and week, according to your schedule.
Will there be live chats with the examiners?
There will not be any live chats available. However, there are Q&A sessions whereby you will have direct access to leave your questions (within the revision course), and the examiner will respond to you within the next 24 hours.
Can we send our assessments for marking?
Marking is only available for English subjects.
When should I register for the revision courses?
You need minimum of 5 months to complete the course. However, we strongly suggest candidates to start their exam preparations as early as possible or at least six months before the exams. This way, you will have ample time to go through the course in detail and participate in the Q&A session longer.
For candidates who do not have a minimum of 5 months before their exams, they can sign up with one-time payment at £375 to access the full course for 4 months. However, this does not fulfil our requirements for the A/A* guarantee. As such, you will not qualify for the A/A* guarantee. (Just a note that many candidates do not mind not having the guarantee, and just want to have access to our quality A* materials to help with their exam preparations)
Can I keep my courses even after the duration of the course?
Monthly payment subscribers can keep their courses active. Just continue with the monthly payment.
For single payment subscribers, extension is not allowed.
Do you customise revision timetables?
We do not provide customised timetables. The revision timetable we’ve provided is the guided course duration and material release schedule for worldwide audience, suggested amount and frequency you should study. It is not a fixed rigid schedule. You can make your own schedule to suit your own activities. The best part is, if you are sitting for your exams next year, you can keep the course for as long as you wish, simply by continuing the subscriptions month after month.
Are the courses suitable for Edexcel candidates?
We are now offering revision courses for Edexcel students. The content materials follow the latest Edexcel syllabus and include past exam paper practices and model answers. Please kindly choose the Edexcel option under the subject.
Do you have online revision courses for O-level?
Our courses are suitable for both IGCSE and O-level.
As the revision course is specifically for extended syllabus, is it suitable for candidates doing core syllabus?
Yes, it is also suitable for Core candidates, as the Extended curriculum consists of both Core and Extended. However, you may need to choose the topics based on the Core syllabus. Just download the syllabus here: https://www.igcsecentre.com/cambridge-igcse-subjects-syllabuses
I do not have a PayPal account. Is there any other way of paying other than PayPal?
We now accept direct credit card/debit card payment via Stripe.
What documents should I prepare to join the online courses?
We require candidates to provide us a copy of their passport and exam registration slip. If exam registration slip is not yet available, we require schooled candidates to give us a copy of their latest school ID or school fee receipt with the candidate’s name. For private candidates, please provide us a copy of the exam centre registration form / exam centre fee payment receipt.
I am studying in a school. Is it okay if I register for the subscription course?
Yes, you may register for our A* subscription course. You may use it along with your studies at school. We have got many candidates doing that, and they have gotten better grades at school.
Am I allowed to move forward quickly if I know those topics better?
For the monthly payment courses, you would not be able to “jump” as the materials would be released week by week, topics by topics. This is a proven way to make sure all the candidates do all the revisions and follow through all necessary works if they want to score A*. Sometimes the candidate might think they know a certain topic well, but missed out certain important facts. This is a common mistake candidates make during the exams.
For single payment courses, you can access all the course materials at once for four months. Members will have the flexibility to schedule the topics and to make sure that they complete the course before the examinations.
Will the courses be detailed, since these are just revision?
The courses cover the whole syllabus and all the content materials are detailed. Everything is properly explained. They consist of everything you need to score A* in your exams. In fact, our A* materials have been used by candidates as early as in Year 8/Year 9 as part of their IGCSE learnings.
