How to differentiate between narrative writing and descriptive?
Can elements of narrative be there in descriptive writing?

You would be writing a story for narrative writing essay whereas for descriptive writing, it is to describe a setting which may include people and things. There are narrative elements in descriptive writing as well. However, the narrative elements are only complement the description and not become a narrative essay instead.
