    • Hello Haig,

Each university has their own set of entry requirements. We suggest that you check out the universities you have in mind and ask for their entry requirements.

      Thank you.

  1. My son appeared in A level IGCSE, Burt later we came to Pakistan. Here he has been told to appear in P. Studies, Urdu and Islamiat of O level. He completed A level in 2017, so how much time does he have to appear in the required o level papers?

    • Hello Mahnaz,

      Thank you for writing in.

We would suggest that he register for the O Level exams when he’s ready. We do not encourage candidates to rush for exams. Give him at least 6 months of preparation time prior to exams.

For your reference, there are 2 examination series in a year; one in May/June, another in October/November. Once he is ready for the exam, you may register him as a private candidate and sit for his exams with the local British Council in Pakistan. Alternatively, you can locate any registered Cambridge school near your area which accepts private candidates here: https://www.cambridgeinternational.org/why-choose-us/find-a-cambridge-school/.

Should you have any further questions, feel free to write to us.

  3. I want to know which schools or colleges in Europe, that can accept me with my O level Zimbabwean certificate, for me to further my studies, and I would like to know how long the process is,I would love to know what will be required and how the procedure works

    • Hello Kevin,

It is best that you inquire directly to the universities. This is because each university has their own set of requirements. In this way, you will have 100% confirmation on the process.

    • Hello Jamil,

We suggest that you only register when you are ready. Furthermore, it is always good to split the subjects in different examination series, so you can have full concentration in less subjects in one go. A general guideline is to take your IGCSE exams within 13 months.

We suggest that you consult with your IGCSE coordinator to organise this for you.

      We hope this helps.
