  1. How was the Business Studies paper? Any reviews?? Also, how will you guys be preparing for the hardest paper i.e. Paper 2?

  2. Hi IGCSE Centre, what is the key difference between A-levels and IB. I have to make a decision between them and I do not know what is right for me.

    Thanks a ton.

    • Hi Nitish,
They are equivalent in standard. The only thing you must weight is, does the university that you wish to apply later accept A Level or IB?

  3. Hey guys! how were the Indian IGCSE papers? ll’l be writing my IGCSE in June series and i wanted t know how it was. What was the planning question for Chemistry?
I heard that the physics paper was quite challenging especially the moments and momentum question and also heard that paper 6 was easy!
I would like to know more information on the mathematics Biology chemistry and Ict papers!
Thanks for sharing your opinions on the examinations!

    • The planning question for chemistry was about endothermic reactions.

Physics was really easy to be honest.

Maths p2 and p4 where both quite easy.(not anything to worry about other than one question).

      Bio was decent (my opinion).

      I did not take ICT

    • The planning question was to plan for showing that the reaction given was an endothermic reaction.
The physics was challenging especially the questions about tension and the thermometer question and yes the paper 6 was quite easy.
Mathematics was quite easy except the paper 4 question on hexagon.!!
Biology also was reasonably easy, though MCQ was tricky and structured paper was very lenghty!!
Chemistry was reasonably easy as well.
      Overall papers were quite good

  4. Dear IGCSEcentre,
I really am not able to understand how percentile is calculated and what is the use of grade threshold, for example if I get 79 marks in English 0500, and the grade threshold is 76, what appears on my results? do the calculate percentile on the basis of Thresholds or how? please help me out as you have always done before
