dear igcse centre,
Do you have speaking record samples for 0511? I will really appreciate it if you do. Thank You.
Hi,
We do not have any speaking record samples.
Dear Team at IGCSECentre,
Could you please upload the listening tracks for French – Foreign Language (0520) October/November session 2016 ? The exam is drawing nearer and this help would be well appreciated.
Thanks in Advance ?
Hi Vig,
This is the track we?re missing as well. We will keep updating the past exam papers. Do check the page from time to time.
You can always use other series to practice. It?s not necessary to use that particular track for revision.
Dear IGCSE centre,
How do I learn for the Global Perspectives written paper. Please tell me I really need help
Hi Nadeem,
The best way to learn about Global Perspectives is to refer to the mark scheme. Look for the patterns that are needed in your answers. Understanding the syllabus also could help. Just download it here: https://www.igcsecentre.com/cambridge-igcse-subjects-syllabuses/
when will ict 2017 practical papers be uploaded?
Hi,
We do not have a fixed schedule for uploading past papers. However, we will try our best to upload them before the June series exams.
Dear igcse centre,
for speaking exam in english second language candidates are should not deliver long speeches and the examiner will stop them and engage in a one way conversation, but will we lose marks if we deliver speeches?
Hi kat,
We have never heard of such incidents as ?engage in a one-way conversation?. You are free to speak on your opinions, suggestions, or anything related to the topic. The examiner will ask you further questions based on what you provide.
I wanted to know that who marks the speaking test for ESL. The school teacher or the CIE examiner?
Hi Lily,
First of all, examiners are also school teachers. Please do not think otherwise for ?examiner? 🙂
Non-coursework speaking tests are internally administered and assessed by your teachers, then externally moderated by CIE. CIE sets the format for non-coursework speaking tests and it is the same for all candidates.
Schools/exam centres must select a teacher-examiner to assess non-coursework speaking tests. This would normally be a teacher from within the relevant department at your school/Centre but could be a suitably qualified person independent of the department/Centre.
