  1. Hii.i was looking for the mark scheme of paper 3 variant 3 of november 2014 mathematics (0580) .i didn’t find it and my exam is near . could u please help me?

  2. Hello IGCSE Team,
-First and foremost, I wish to express my heartfelt gratitude for your help in our IGCSE examinations and thank you for all the time and energy you?ve spent helping us in order for us to succeed in our examinations.
-So here?s the deal, I did a tiny spelling mistake in my listening exam today and I feel really bad because I believe I aced the exam without a single faulty answer. Do I get penalized for doing so?
-Once again I thank you very much for all the hard WORK you?ve done so far and I hope you have a pleasant day

    • Hi Yasuo,
If you know the mistake on the spot, just correct it at once. Put a neat line across the word and write a new one on top / beside (depending on the space available).
You won’t be penalised. All IGCSE papers are being marked “positively”, that means, you get “awarded”. If there is spelling mistake, then you won’t be awarded just for that part.

  3. hiiii

  4. i had a quiz and pls gimme an answer
in ICT do they award marks if i do the following : eg(answer of advantages of online shopping) in 2013 , in 2014 the answers r completely different and most of the answers in 2013 r not mentioned there in the 2014 marking scheme ,,,so if i write these answers in the exam but they r not in the marking scheme of 2015 ICT exam will i get marks … and also if my answer is correct sensible but is not mentioned in the marking scheme will i get marks ????
please i need an answer for that i am so curious cause now i dunno which answer should i write

  5. Hey IGCSE Team,
During the english IGCSE exam, I ran out of space and so wrote half of my answer of a blank piece of lined paper provided by the exam officer (the question number was clearly numbered and my details were on it) instead of the additional pages at the end of the exam booklet, would this be a problem?

    Thanks!

    • Hi Alex,
No, this is not a problem at all. In fact, this is the right way of doing that :)… All answers must be written on the lined page (including extra pages) and correctly numbered. Just be sure to fasten all your answer sheets securely.

      • Hello I’m Fatima Shumail I’m currently appearing in May/June 2015 exams and I wanted to tell you that today I had my English as a second language 0510 in Riyadh Saudia Arabia and The boys got their own headphone while we didn’t get any and they were able to adjust the sound where as we weren’t and that pretty unfair and therefore this will also effect our grade.i want you to be fair with all and take some serious action about it
        Thank you

          • No Plato,
For such incident, candidates have right to make the reporting to CIE. In this way, CIE would know if the exam condition is being carried out in a proper way. So, Fatima has right to do so.

This won’t jeopardise anything. The school is responsible to make sure all candidates are being treated equally.
