  1. Hello IGCSE Team,
on the grade thresholds it says the minimum number of marks for each component eg:
    paper 1: 90/100 for an A*, 80/100 for an A etc.
    paper 2: 80/100 for an A*, 70/100 for an A etc.
It also says the overall grade thresholds eg:
    170/200 for an A*, 150/200 for an A …
If I get 78/100 on paper 1 and 95/100 on paper 2, therefore 173/200 in total, what grade would I get (A*, A or B)?

  4. Does anyone know if it matters whether you wrote your name in FULL BLOCK CAPITAL or if you wrote it the normal way?

  5. Hi, by any chance. Do any of you know the paragraphing for the IGCSE Malay Foreign Language? Do I write in only one paragraph or must it be more than one? I’m not quite sure as it is not mentioned in the marking scheme. I asked a few teachers and they gave me different answers. I am taking my exam in two days and so can anyone reply as soon as possible if you know which is the correct format?

    • Hello Kenneth,
If you’re referring to composition, you MUST write your essay in different paragraph to show your ability to expand and sequence your points.
