Hi IGCSE team,
I believe that you are facing issues with uploading the past papers and I can understand, but I there any website you can link that has French 0520 2018 past papers? I have a French examination coming up in a couple of days and it would be so helpful if you send me a link to access 2018 past papers.
Thank you.
Hello Megh,
Kindly google for alternative sources of past papers. Furthermore, we always advise students to download all the papers at least months before the exam. Thank you for your understanding.

Hello to the hardworking team!
Since, I’m giving my Global Perspectives and English as a second language paper this year- I would love some tips to do my best in both the subjects 🙁 Thank you!
Sorry, if it’s a repeated question haha…I have tried searching to a similar question in the comments but couldn’t find one… Also- I agree with Rios in the comments! 🙂 Always supporting you!
Hi Gwen,
Thank you for appreciating our effort.
Start as early as possible. You can revise the subjects from the beginning. Highlight the important facts that you think could be on the test (you should refer to the latest syllabus on what is expected during exams here: https://www.igcsecentre.com/cambridge-igcse-subjects-syllabuses/). You can then use the past exam papers as your revision. Start with the latest papers as they have the newest syllabus format and continue with the older ones date back from 5 to 10 years. Then, revise on the most common mistakes that you always seem to make. Pay attention to the most common mistakes you always seem to make. Make notes and revise them, so you can avoid making the same mistakes in your actual exam.
For the written paper in Global Perspectives, candidates are encouraged to justify their opinions with reasons and evidence, provide explanation rather than simple assertion or description (where appropriate), consider counter arguments, evaluate Sources and arguments using key concepts in critical thinking, and quote from Sources to provide evidence for their judgements and opinions.
On the other hand, for English as a Second Language, work out what the question is asking for before reading the text by identifying key words. For exercises testing reading, first read quickly (skim) through the text – concentrate on finding the main idea in each paragraph. You will then need to re-read the relevant sections of text more carefully (scan) to find the answer. The text will include information that will answer the question, and other distracting information, so be
careful in your selection.
You may also consider to enrol into our A* online courses which had helped many candidates around the world score A*. Please find out more details here: https://www.igcsecentre.com/cambridge-igcse-revision-courses/ And along the way of studying, these exam model answers might help in learning how to write A* answers: https://www.igcsecentre.com/igcse-exam-resources/
Hope this helps.
