  1. Hi IGCSE Centre Team,
I did not check in with this website after my boards, and I came back now for some past papers only to find this. I cannot believe students did this, as this is a very helpful website. wish you all the best, and hopefully, I can use your website again for my AS & A levels.

I actually do have some questions to ask. So I did not plan beforehand due to some unfortunate circumstances, and I now have to take up Chemistry and Physics for the AS level, and I did not take it for IGCSE. What is the best way to learn two years worth of curriculum in less than two or so months?

Thank You, hope you get your site back, all the best,
    Pranav

    • Hi Pranav,

Thank you for appreciating our effort. If you wish to speed up your learning, we strongly suggest you to consider our A* online revision courses. You are able to learn everything you need in a short span. Find out more here: https://www.igcsecentre.com/cambridge-igcse-revision-courses/

Start as early as possible. You can revise the subjects from the beginning. Highlight the important facts that you think could be on the test (you should refer to the latest syllabus on what is expected during exams. You can then use the past exam papers as your revision. Start with the latest papers as they have the newest syllabus format and continue with the older ones date back from 5 to 10 years. Then, revise on the most common mistakes that you always seem to make. Pay attention to the most common mistakes you always seem to make. Make notes and revise them, so you can avoid making the same mistakes in your actual exam.

We are currently fixing our library of resources, we suggest that you google alternative sources. Thank you.

    • Hi Zyphire,

We are currently working on it. However, we do not have fixed date as to when will it be available. Thank you for your patience.

        • Hi Zain,

We’ve learned that there’s no quick fix for this issue but we are currently working on it. Furthermore, we always advise students to download all the papers at least months before the exam. Thank you for your understanding.

      • hi gcse team,
i was wondering if knew could help me with what to revise for science combined short answer papers. Any key and important details are needed? maybe some tests for methods? or equations? and if there are any helpful ways to revise apart from just rewriting work already been given to you that would also be really helpful as well.
        thank you

        • Hello Morgan,

Here are some tips for you:

          – There is often stimulus material for each question. This might be a photograph, diagram, drawing, flow chart, table of data, graph or just some text. Read all of this information carefully and study any pictures, tables or graphs that are included. All of it is relevant to the questions.

          – The stimulus material is often about something that is not studied. Don’t panic. There will be enough information in the question to work out an answer. This tests the candidate’s ability to apply knowledge to new information.

-The number of marks is a guide to how long to spend on each question or parts of a question. If a part of a question is worth three marks you should make at least three separate points. Be careful to not make the same point three times.

          – Show your working when answering a ‘calculate’ question. You may get some credit even if your answer is wrong. Writing down your working can also help you to spot errors you have made.

  2. Hi igcse team,
I wanna get minimum B in Business studies and travel and tourism exam, please help me give me some tips that I should do, because this is my third time I am repeating I want to pass this time for sure.
    Thank you!
    wish me a luck.

    • hi Hassan,

For Business Studies, demonstrate the application of knowledge and concepts using the given scenario. This doesn’t mean simply referencing the business name. Analyse the issues faced and make suitable recommendations as to what this particular business should do. Always use the information provided in the case study or question stem as a guide in considering what to write.

And here are some tips for Travel and Tourism:
      – You need to read the question carefully and respond in an appropriate manner, paying close attention to the context provided.
      – Careful interpretation of the stimulus materials is required
      – Greater precision when explaining the significance of particular factors, avoiding generalisation
      – Be prepared for the demands of the open-ended/longer answer questions which require analysis and evaluation skills.

      Hope this helps.

  3. Where can I find the Listening papers and audio for the 2019 syllabus of O-Level French please?
I hope you get the problem sorted soon, you helped me a lot with my exams last year and I’m really sorry some horrible person has caused you such problems.
    Thanks again. 🙂
