how waz chem P6 guysss???
Variant 2 was pretty decent I guess
What variant did you do
I did 62! and it was awesome! I think they will give marks for spelling mistake! btw what was your answer for the material used for an electrode? Graphite is wrong
and also, why was there more hydrogen formed in electrolysis than chlorine??
How do you know that graphite is wrong? For the chlorine thing I said some of the chlorine dissolved in the electrolyte.
Why would graphite be wrong? The same experiment is in the Rodger Norris book and it said carbon electrodes. (Graphite is a carbon allotrope) and Hydrogen comes from both HCl and H2O.
It’s wrong because it asks for a metal electrode. I just asked a friend.
It said “Metal” electrodes, so it is not graphite or carbon rods. Graphite is an allotrope of carbon which is a non-metal.
Platinum can be used to make metal electrode.
Graphite is correct….
chlorine is soluble… so dissolves back into the electrolyte
Is your name really “Rohan”? I don’t think so…
Yes my name is really Rohan lol
i did variant 1. it was great as well. I hope you do awesome. I feel we all will this year
hard!!!!
it was ok but some ques a little tricky………..!!!
um u guys do we get penalized for writing wrong spelling of instruments like thermometre instead of thermometer
nope until it is phonetically correct…
It went well tbh
What is the test for octane? I said add bromine water and it will stay orange. I’m pretty sure that’s wrong though.
I wrote the same
some people did the same in my group and some said to crack the alkane! I have no clue! Oh well we did what we could
Octane is an alkane. You can say it is a type of fuel that burns with heating, so resulting in combustion. Therefore, when there is complete combustion one of the products formed is carbon dioxide. You could do a lime water test to show the presence of carbon dioxide.
I wrote about bromine water test..wtf
bromine water is intact incorrect…….
Use a spirit burner… octane is a fuel… will ignite a flame
easy really easy i only studied analytical chemistry
hem paper 62 was kinda weird. For my value on the graph I got 92 but everyone else in my class got 105+
Also I thought the question about the conical flask said 1000 cm cube instead of 100 cm cube so I wrote the exact opposite. I don’t think they will penalize you for wrong spelling, I spelt phenolphthalein indicator wrong, btw what did you guys do for the last six mark experiment, everyone in my class did different things
the last question is titration method! and they asked for a suitable METAL electrode and graphite aint metal. its platinum I think. (cons of doing too many past papers)… and yeah everyone wrote that for the chlorine thing so that should be it. also, I got 94s but everyone else got like 96 or 98 :/
Yeah..it’s more than 105
Variant 2 was a breeze.
Hi Naiyara. Was it that easy?
guys paper 62 was SO easy!
you all will do great!
it was
what was the color of the precipitate in variant 62’s qualitative analysis?
yellow precipitate, it was iodide so ya!
Hi everyone I am really obliged to post a comment coz the math paper was realy hardddd!
IMO varient 2 paper 4 was pretty easy. But I might lose 2 to 3 marks.
EXCUSE ME……????????
Paper 6 was also very easy ..30+ for sure
Any advice for the history paper 4 tomorrow?
For a moment i thought MATH p42 wasn’t ours
omg the last subject i though i will be getting a B or C was math….
even though it’s my favourite subject
Hey
How was chemistry paper 6 ?
Chemistry was decent
In Sha Allah I won’t get less than 50
How was yours
What variant did you do
hardddd
