  1. Hello IGCSE Centre,
My name is Navadeep, currently preparing for Feb-March 2020 examinations.
I have a doubt regarding that if the provided space is not sufficient, can we use the blank page, showing the question number and the solution there?
Also if we write there any solution regarding to the question in blank page, will it be considered?
    Thanks and Regards

    • Hello Navadeep,

Yes, you may use the blank page provided. But please don’t forget to label it. If you properly labelled your answer, then the examiner would be able to follow it.

Any blank pages or answer booklets that are used by a candidate in the examinations are scanned and marked as long as you properly label it.

      Hope this helps.

  2. Hello IGCSE Centre,
I’m Varshith, currently studying in Grade 10, writing the Feb-March 2020 series board exams.
I have a doubt regarding the provided space. Will the answer be considered if we write the information which is exceeding the lines just below the provided lines?

    • Hello Varshith,

We strongly suggest for you not to go below the provided space. You are risking your answers not fitting into the scanned screen. We suggest that you use the blank pages provided within the answer sheet. Any blank pages that are used by a candidate in the examinations are scanned and marked as long as you properly label it.

    • Hello there,

Yes, students are able to use tracing paper in all the IGCSE Mathematics papers. You will notice that it is an optional item on the front of the examination paper.

    • Hello Bruno,

‘Merit’ comes under Cambridge ICE Award. If you do not register for ICE Award, you will not obtain ‘Merit.’ You will obtain separate IGCSE certificates.
