  1. Hey guys please tell me how your bio papers were!!!??? I thought it was horrible… I didn’t even get to write an answer for the hydrogen carbonate question because there was no time 🙁 and recycling paper question was dumb! and so was the red blood cells question.. ( what were the answers)?? everyone thought it was great in my grade so im definitely not gettn an A* now:/ even if paper 1 and 6 were amazin… im depressed I wanna die urgh!

    • for paper recyling i wrote ink is removed from paper and bleaching agents are added and then it is used as any other form (but a little ellaborated )
and I wrote sth. so stupid have no idea whether it is right or not for hydrogencarbonate thing i wrote it is yellow as O2 is released which is neutral (ellaborated) but overall it was really good compared to other papers

      • I think that’s wrong for the prediction bit, Samar. It had to be purple because, with greater light intensity, more photosynthesis occurs, thus increasing the Carbon Dioxide intake. This causes the pH to increase, and the colour to change to purple. I found the paper easy, because there weren’t any of those genetic variation type questions.

        • Yeah i wanted to say that actually, but I was thinking that the indicator is in the soloution form so CO2 is already dissolved and cannot be available for the plant but since it is just prediction I think your answer will be right (Y)

    • Actually, exam wasn’t that easy and judging by the comments a lot of people screwed up. Plus, the curve is always low so achieving an A* or A is possible even if u didnt do great. Also, even if you didnt achieve the mark you want you have the Oct/Nov sessions to repeat.

  2. Dear igcse team,
Can I know what will happen if I get C in any subject and the consequences I have to face. And what I may do further. Please.

    • Hi Salman,
It all depends on what you want to study further, and if this has any relation to this “C” subject. If yes, it might be a little difficult for you to get enrolled in. If no, then don’t bother 🙂

  3. hey guyz,
was the exam mainly focusing on ecology and reproduction or the human systems ??
any answer after 30 mins will be useless
    thank yoo

  4. Does anyone know why a small percentage of people get A*s in business when the grade boundaries are so low? Scary stuff
