  1. hey guys,
I REALLY HOPE THIS COMMENT GETS A REPLY
SO PLZ ANSWER MY QUESTIONS ACCORDINGLY.
    1. For French paper 2 variant 1, were the vrais the first and last?
    2. For bio, paper 3 variant 1, what did you guys write for the last question and was there one about you had to explain fertilization?
    3. where can I get good chemistry short revision notes?!!

      • The last question was quite simple. Because there is a lot of energy loss during the food chain through respiratory loss, excretion, metabolism etc. the top consumer always needs a lot of animals below it as every single one only gives a little bit of energy as most of it has been lost during the foodchain. The reason why the number of wolfs did not rise is because what seems like a large number of moose can not support a larger population of wolfs because the mentioned energy loss. The fertilisation/ovulation questions were really bad I just guessed ^^ I hope it does not drag me down too much.

        • ur writing around a single point which is not a main one, its not a simple as that, and it will gain u a single mark as well (if u gained any) 🙁 scroll down for the right answer

      • Yes the 1st and last were true.
the last questions the answer was about energy flow and for the fertilsation one you had to write about the zygote dividing my mitosis and how it moves

    • after fertilization the following things happen:
the egg develops a membrane to prevent any more sperms to enter
      the menstrual cycle stops
the corpus lutum continue secreting oestrogen n progesterone to prevent menstruation and to make walls ready for implaantation
No FSH or LH released to prevent any follicle to develop , n so prevent any ovulation
hmmm i think that i wrote 2 points more but idk i forgot
for the last question it says the the population of the creature didnt raise above 50
      simply cuz
      1. death rate is high / death rate = birth rate
      2. hunting
      3. a disease
      4. emigration = imigration
      5. the habitat of the island was not suitable for them
these points will get u the 5 marks i think

      • That is incorrect.
They did not give us information about the wolves and there are many other valid points, you cannot simply reject a correct answer and give your own all the credit.

    • I don’t remember which variant i did for french, was it about the winter carnival Quebec?
For that question in bio all i could say was a zygote is produced and it divide by mitosis to from an embryo then moves down the oviduct.

          • Sally, 80% of the guys that did that varient in my country got that.
@ Bani the last question focused on energy flow as the previous question before the calculation asked what determines the population of the wolf (something like that) therefore disease, hunting e.t.c will be ignored. A question similar to this came in a past paper thats why i know.

        • im not sure about the order, but the ones i put down as true were 1. the one about him meeting new people and making friends every year and 2. the one about him being excited to see the new carnival
The last one was definitely false because it said he wanted to move to quebec with his cousins yet in the text it says he was confused by their decision to go their in the first place.
