I am preparing for GCSE English equivalency test and was advised to have a look AQA past papers. Can your revision course still be helpful? Are there any differences in syllabus between AQA and your exam?

AQA and IGCSE syllabus are very similar. The differences are in the number of exam paper combinations, question style, number of questions etc.

While our courses are designed based on IGCSE exam papers and syllabus, you may also benefit from our courses if you are taking AQA. All you need to do is, submit the AQA past exam paper for marking, instead of the IGCSE past exam paper.

We also suggest that you download the respective subject syllabus from AQA and the CAIE (https://www.igcsecentre.com/cambridge-igcse-subjects-syllabuses/), and make a comparison of the syllabus scope.

Generally, IGCSE awarded grades are A*-G, with some subjects awarding 9-1 grades. While AQA is graded on a nine-point scale – which is similar to some IGCSE subjects.
