  1. There will be no Chinese for second language on the May/June intake ?
    And I heard them saying that the November papers are easier than the May ones is that true. Plus can I take English as second and first but different intakes ? Thank you for helping

    I am from Pakistan and did my O’levels in GCE, as a regular student from a school. I cleared all the subjects except for Maths. Now, I’ll have to retake the Maths exam but this time I want to take up IGCSE Edexcel. I want to ask you:
    1. If I can change the board and shift from GCE to IGCSE because this time I’ll appear as a private candidate?
    2. If IGCSE Edexcel Maths is easier than GCE Maths, i.e. syllabus D?
    3. If I take Edexel, do I have to appear in 2 papers or 4?
    4.What is the procedure of changing the examination board?

      The exam from Edexcel is called: “International GCSE”. “IGCSE” is from Cambridge.

      Please visit the Edexcel website and ask them for the procedure.

        Thanks for replying me. Please would you clear me on this issue. I have seen the past papers of Cambridge IGCSE Maths (0580) here on this website and I want to take up this maths due to my not being so good at syllabus D as I did not clear this subject in my finals. But before doing that, I want to know:
        1. If I can shift over from syllabus D Maths to Maths(0580)?
        2. Is Maths (0580) easier than Syllabus D?
        3. How many papers would have to appear in to If I take Maths(0580)?
        4. Which books would I have to study for maths (0580)?

          Actually I just want to say that I am not an International student. I am only a native of Pakistan and I’ll be appearing as a private student in my maths examination. I just want to know whether I am able to take Maths (0580) in Pakistan?

          You can always take Mathematics 0580 as Private Candidate. Just register yourself with your local British Council. We are sorry we do not know what is syllabus D.

  3. Dear IGCSE,
    How long will it take to complete the class each day and what are the costs like? Would you be able to add Geography for these classes as I have to take a Geography IGCSE in May/June as well.

      If you just follow through our timetable, each subject will take you around 30 minutes, more or less depending on individual. Maximum 60 minutes. We do not encourage long hour studying. You need time to rest and continue as you have other subjects to cover. You have the flexibility to pace yourself throughout the day and week, according to your schedule.

  4. Do the revision require you to have a strong internet connection
    because in my country the internet is sometimes poor. And i will like to know how much to pay for Biology,Physics and chemistry
