  1. Can my son do two subjects on O level and three subjects on AS Level? He wants to matriculate next year but I feel this is not enough time to do all O level subjects and then same on AS level?

    • Hi Yvette,
      There is a rule from CIE that you can’t do the same/equivalent subjects for both IGCSE and AS / A-Level at the same time. For example, you can’t take IGCSE Mathematics and AS-Level Mathematics in the same examination series.

  2. Dear IGCSE Team,

    My son who is 17 years old is interested to take IGCSE exams for the following subjects: –
    1. Add Maths
    2. Chemistry
    3. Physics
    4. English – First Language
    5. Computer Science

    I would like to know if he needs to take International Maths also, if he have already taken Add Maths.

      It is not necessary. But you must get the confirmation from the colleges/universities that he wish to apply.
