    • Hi Janntul,
Yes, definitely you can take IGCSE as private candidate. Just register with your local British Council, and whenever you’re ready, you will write your exams 🙂

        • Hello Lyn,
All the Checkpoint tests are not available for private candidates. They are meant for use in the schools only.

  2. Dear IGCSE Team

My son wants to take the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Extended Maths, Add Maths, French, English Language, English Literature, Design and Technology and ICT.

Will he qualify for a CIE certificate with this combination?

      • No , your son is missing the humanities and social science combination (others are ok) . Therefore , it is not an ICE combination. Btw , your son is taking a lot of subjects , can he manage that?

  3. Dear IGCSE,
My son had taken 8 subjects and wanted to get the ICE certificate, but we didn’t know that we had to pay for it. So is it true that we have to pay 113 pounds to the school to get the ICE certificate?

  4. Very dissapointed with ELC International School in Malaysia. Treat kids and parents very poorly. They do not allow anyone near the class rooms as if they are hiding the way they teach or afraid of something. They do not provide proper feedback on grades. Kids being taught bad values. I would never recommend this school to anyone. If you just want a place to put your kids and do not care about your kids progress, then it is fine. Otherwise you will be very dissapointed with the way things are being handled in this school.

  5. Can you please put up the examiner reports for the computer science May/June 2015 past paper? I would really appreciate it.
