Hi, as I know if sit for a subject in core, the maximum can score is C while extended is A*.
May I know is English for first language is graded as above? English for first language for Core maximum grade is C?
My son will be doing the O Level next year. His ambition is to be a animal rescuer, and interested in Biology only. can he take up only Biology and drop physics & chemistry? Or is it compulsory to do physics, chemistry along with Biology?
Hi Shiromi,
It might be best for you to confirm with the university/college that he intended to apply. Some universities/colleges might need Chemistry as well.
Dear Sir,
I am bachelor of commerce, now i want to study in electrical Engineering. is this posible, if yes,
what is the process to take the admition in IGCSE.
Thank you
First of all, please get the confirmation from the university on the required subjects for the Electrical Engineering entry requirements. Then you may proceed to choose your subject for IGCSE. Later on, you would need to proceed to take A-Level and further apply for the Electrical Engineering course after your A-Level.
You may also ask if the university would accept you with excellent IGCSE results, such as straight A/A*.
If you had already taken some core subjects previously, for example English and Maths, you may skip these 2 subjects this time. Just concentrate in taking the required Science subjects. For engineering courses, you would need Physics, Chemistry, Additional Maths. However, please get the confirmation from the university before you register for your IGCSE exams.
