My son is 6years old and he is in Cambridge Affiliated school.His teacher gives him assignment test and give no. Also and I don’t know what pattern of learning they follow ;he has to learn spelling by heart or they learn by phonics.i am really confused and they give too much homework for weekends also.
What exactly Cambridge focuses on young learners.the way they teach it seems I have to teach him .Putting so much pressure on him that he must know by this age in grade one to write and read a complete sentences with correct writing.Is it true.pls help me

  We can’t comment on the teaching style employed by the school/teacher. However, to be able to write/read very simple complete sentence in year 1 is normal.
  
  Since we do not know if your son is in year 1 or in the kindergarten, it is very hard for us to suggest anything.
