  1. Hello,
Could you please tell me if a student who passed the PET, could skip entirely level FCE and go for the IGCSE test instead? Is this something that occurs frequently? Does the student’s proficiency suffers when s/he skips a level, such as FCE?
    Thank you for your time,
    Lena

      • These are two of a large group of English Proficiency examinations offered by Cambridge and usually administered by The British Council throughout the world. Others include; KEY, CPE, CAE and IELTS.

  2. I am currently in Oman and studying in a sabis curriculum. They allow us to do APs instead of A-levels so are APs(advanced placement) exams counted same as A-levels? Will they accept APs or A-levels in UK?

    • Hi Yousaf,
We can’t speculate if Advanced Placement is accepted in the UK or not. You must check with the university with regards to this matter.

    • Hi Salman,
Yes you could take the exam with your school. You must register with them now so you don’t missed the deadline again. You might need to check with your school if they do accept re-sit with them. Please do it now.

    • Hi Maya,
Yes, you could take 10 IGCSE subjects. You must state the ICE group award during your exam registration. You must do it during the registration, not after your exams. If you failed to stated the ICE group award category during your registration, you won’t be able to “claim” it after your exam.
