I only know English, and don’t know any other language. I want to take English as first language and english literature.

My question is, will it be counted as two subjects from Group 1 to be eligible for CIE group awards?

  If you are already taking the local exam board, you do not need to take IGCSE again. You can always apply with your local exam board.
  We suggest you to look at the entry requirement for London School of Economics, and find out what are the required subjects for Journalism.
