I will be doing my IGCSE exam next year and I have opted to do only 7 subjects. Could you please let me know whether 7 subjects will be sufficient to get to AS level, as I am a full science student.

  The number of subjects are not important. The most important factor you must consider is, your chosen subjects are related to what you want to study in the university.
  
  First find out what are the required subjects as entry requirement in the university, then work out what are the subjects you must take in A Level, finally you will know what are the subjects you need at IGCSE level.
