  As mentioned in the above article, the minimum age to sit for IGCSE is 14, and there is no maximum age. Just register yourself whenever you are ready for the exam. You do not need any prior grade to sit for IGCSE.

  You should decide on the subject based on what you want to study in the university. For example, if you wish to study engineering, you do not need Travel and Tourism. You may also check on the university’s entry requirement. In this way, you have 100% confirmation on the needed subjects.

  It’s never too late to sit for IGCSE examination. You can check the British Council at your local area or you can also find a list of registered Cambridge schools in your local area here: https://www.cie.org.uk/i-want-to/find-a-cambridge-school/ and check with the school if they accept a private candidate.
