  2. Hi,
I recently completed 10th from an ICSE medium school. Now I wish to write the IGCSE exams this year. Im currently in India. Please advise me what should I do? What are the procedures and the subjects I require to select? Should I go for Edexel or CIE? What are the fees?
    Thank you

    • Hello Tanzilur,

Please read our article above for the 5 core subject required in IGCSE. We are sorry that we do not have any information regarding Edexcel. For the fee, you need to either contact a school, British Council or any exam centre that you would like to register with.

    • Hello Farzana,
They are both “best” for further study in Medicine. Both of them are well-recognised and widely accepted by all the universities in the world.

    • I want to follow medicine and i am writing my o level in may/june i took biology extended and the physics, chemistry and mathematics core but i did not know that core gives a maximum grade of C and my exams are in two months time 🙁 is it possible for me to change to extended physics and chemistry and manage to pass or i must proceed with core ?

      • Hi Andreia,

You must quickly go to your exam centre and request for the change now. We are not sure if they still allow you to do so. But you might still be able to do it, so move quickly! 🙂

Else, you might want to check if you could move your exam to the next term in Oct/Nov in order for you to have enough time to prepare for Extended syllabus.

  3. Good morning

What are the fees normally charged for IGCSE Cambridge exams?

I am a resident of Bahrain.

    Your help is appreciated!

    • Hello Cheryl,
If you are a “Private Candidate”, please consult the nearest British Council or your exam centre for this.
