  1. Hi,

I am planning to take the IGCSE exam in March 2017 from India. Since coordinated sciences is not offered in the March series, I am planning to take combined science. I would like to know, whether this would be a disadvantage in case I choose to take science in AS and A level in future? Also would like to know the basic difference between combined science, coordinated sciences and pure science.

    • Hello Jana,
O-level is the graduation of secondary/high school (depending on which country you are in and the language they use for school). A-Level is the graduation of senior high school / pre-university entry requirement.

    • Hi Malika,
Home study courses contain all necessary theory for your exam. You could coupled the home study courses with some reference books if you like. Or hire private tutors, or attend any private tuition in your local area.

    • Hi Jana,
      We suggest these:
      1. Sign up with some IGCSE home study course providers, and go along with the courses.
      2. Buy all necessary IGCSE course books which follow the right syllabus (syllabuses have changed from 2015 till 2019 for some subjects, you have to be sure about your exam year then buy the right books).
      3. Hire private tutors if you need so.

      Hope these help.

  3. Hi
I was studying in IGCSE in grade 8 in saudi arabia recently migrated to pakistan, which is your recommended school where I can continue my IGCSE study.I visited popular chains of schools like beaconhouse and lahore grammer school, the syllabus there is entirely different but they say its same as IGCSE.But as I searched its GCE not IGCSE.I am realy very confused, can I continue with GCE.Please help me.

    • Hi Moatsim,

GCE is the national curriculum of UK. IGCSE is the international curriculum of Cambridge University. Your choice is depending on what you want to do later, and where/which university you plan to go to.
