1.Will i have to re sit for my English exam if i want to continue further in UK universities?
2.Would you recommend to proceed in the medical field or the Architectural field as i do love them both.
Here are the answers:
1. Please check with the universities that you wish to apply. We believe minimum Grade B is a “safe” grade for UK universities.
2. We can’t advise you on this. You have to “listen” to your “inner calling” 🙂 … Which one makes you want to jump out of the bed and start your morning “energetically”? 🙂
1.So would you recommend me to re write the english exam because some universities did say minimum B but one university stated C.
2.Are those grades good enough for an O/L student to proceed with medicine or should he/she have better grades?
3.Is it better if I do the IELTS examination to prove my english language abilities?
If you wish to pursue medical, then minimum Grade B is required. Your grades are good for medicine study, with Grade A for both Biology and Chemistry.
IELTS is not “easier” than IGCSE English 🙂 … Since you are familiar with IGCSE, it is advisable to resit IGCSE English than learning whole new thing of IELTS.
Wanted to know…..if i take E.M. in AS level would it be considered by the universities? because i have heard that when i do E.M., ill have to do it only until AS level because the course is over. Therefore to go to A level our school recommends to have 3 subjects therefore i will have to drop one subject therefore I thought of taking E.M.in As level for architecture as anyway i am not stopping the course half way.
Hi Nis,
Environment Management is only valid for AS-Level only.
IGCSE TEAM,
please do create a AS and A level site , it would really be helpful
hope you can make it by 2016 please reply ,thanks 🙂
Thank you for your visit! We have got a new site. Please go to our new site Skolatis.com to leave your comments and continue the hot discussions! See you there!

Hey Ramalie,
Just stay tune 🙂
If someone got an E in ICT (o-level), is it considered as a pass or fail?
Hi Faten,
It’s a pass.
Hello
Please tell me how a paper is grades? How is it MARKED? How much percentage is needs to score a A*?
Just try your best. It depends on threshhold which changes every year. Howver a minimum 90% will garantee an A*
I got a D grade in my ICGSE Cambridge (June 15) Global Perspective paper. I got 59%. Why isn’t this a C grade? Should I ask for a remark?
Hi Maddie,
Yes, you may ask for a remark.
The grade depends on the threshold. The threshold is different each year.
