Hello IGCSE TEAM,
I got perfect scores on my IGCSE’s. 7 A* in the 7 subjects that I did. I want to do 4 AS Level exam(maths, physics, geography and perhaps french) and am sort of confident to get good grades for them too. I wanna go at Harvard. Would those academic credentials get me there. If you’re not familiar with Harvard’s selection process, you might compare it with Oxford’s or Cambridge’s. Meanwhile, I also did some other American tests as well which I didn’t perform in as well as my IGCSE but tried. Please do give me a meticulously researched and thoughful point of view. Thank you.
Hi Jean,
You can enter any universities with great results in AS Level. Harvard does accept AS/A Level as well. You may contact the university for more details on the course that you want to do.
I have gotten my IGCSE results lately and I have an A* in French, a B in English, a D in ICT, Business studies and Music, a G in PDHPE, an E in Accounting and Math and i have no idea of the markings in the distinctions passes and merits …please explain to me on how it works and how you can relate it to my IGCSE grade status…
Hi Damini,
As long as you have gotten a Grade, then it is a pass. But you have to check what is the minimum grades required for your future study. Usually minimum Grade B is the requirement to enter a good university.
I have a question. I took 5 subjects which are Business Studies, Economics, English, Physics and Math. I got a B in english, C in Business Studies and Economics, E in Math and a F in Physics. I plan to Study Business and Economics in AS, will i have to re sit my Physics exam? Please reply, Thank You
I have passed 3 igcse subject which is English 1st, mathematics without coursework and add mathematics. (CBC respectively) The other 2 ungraded. I intend to write a/as level in economics , accounting & business studies. For the enrollment for Cima/acca & uni if possible, can I? Regards

Hi Roselyne,
That is only for Cambridge ICE. If you are not taking Cambridge ICE, you do not have to worry about it.

Hi Abdullah,
In this case, no, you don’t have to resit Physics. Since you’re not going to pursue the science courses in the future.
But you might want to consider resit Economics, since you’re going to pursue Economics in the future.
Thank you so much for the reply, and yes, i will consider it 🙂
