Well..am inquiring could there be a possibility an individual wd study a subject like Chemistry alone…because he dnt take it in his IGCSE from year 10 ..and took all other science subjects….only to realise later he wants Medicine…
Is there a way to do bridging before yr 12..?
Or do the subject without going for a retake all the way to yr 10?
Hi Dorothy,
Yes, he can take only one subject. He just need to register with any nearest British Council, and sit for one subject in any examination session. He can choose to sit for the exam next year May/June session, or Oct/Nov session.
Hello Hassan,
Yes, that would be very highly possible, if this “someone” also has excellent extra curriculum such as in sports or music or participated in any tournaments.
Yes, the GCE papers won’t be “part” of the IGCSE papers. The universities would take into consideration of the “full” IGCSE certificates, not the partly GCE.

Are 5 subjects enough to get an admission in Cambridge or Oxford University?
Yes, provided they are all relevant to the faculty that you’re applying.
Dear igcse team,
If someone got A* in every subject is he going to get a scholarship in oxford university or Cambridge university.

Hi,
Can you count gce grades with igcse ones?
Hello Tressa,
No you can’t. They are two different examination board.
But what if i already gave 2 papers in gce and 6 in igcse , so the gce papers wont be counted?
