Dear IGCSE,
Based on the timetable presented, General paper AS is offered for november session and the exam date is on the 7th of october. I’m an IGCSE student from Egypt, and there is a bit of confusion wether the general paper is offered for november’s session or not in Egypt, and i would like to register. Thus, i would really appreciate it if you would reply so i would be able to late-register the subject if it is available.

  We are afraid it might be too late to register, but you can still try with British Council. Just go to British Council, and they could help you on the subject offer part.

  Otherwise, ONE subject from the Science Group is mandatory for IGCSE. You may choose any subjects in the Science Group. Please read above.

school doesn’t offer many choices it is either business or ict or art
So i choose business and ict although i am not good at ict , last year i had a C
in my report.. So the question is will it be fine if i got a D or even a E on my igcse exam this year? I
am sitting my exams on june i think
You know i take chemistry in home so will universities accept me if i didn’t do well in ict ?

  The universities don’t discriminate candidates based on “Private Candidate”. So please rest assured that you would be accepted accordingly.
  
  The usual minimum grades required for reputable universities are Grade B. So, please try to obtain at least a “B”. Forget about D or E 🙂

  Yes, you can take IGCSE as a “Private Candidate”, and study at home. You may attend any tuition as your guidance. We do not know if British Council does offer this service. Please check with them.
