  1. hello, I was wondering whether we receive the IGCSE certification only if we include in the seven or more subjects two languages and one subject from each of the other groups or if we generally obtain good marks in 7 subjects (could they cover just three groups for instance). thanks in advance

    • Hi Cheryl,
No, IGCSE certification is not in this way. As long as you have chosen the 3 core subjects from the 3 core groups: English, Science, Maths; the other 2 subjects could be from any groups.

You will obtain 5 certificates, one for each subject. If you take 7 subjects, then you will obtain 7 certificates.

  2. I have chosen for my igcse english second language, french, german, economics, history, latin and geography. if succeeding in all the exams, will I get the IGCSE certification or do I need compulsorily mathematics for instance or any other subject? thanks in advance

    • Hi Cheryl,
You must choose also one subject from the Maths group and one subject from the Science groups. Please see the subject list above.

  5. Helloo. I have given exam in english first languag, maths, biology, chemestry and arabic. Do i need to give exams for three more.subjects? And is it possible to give those exams including a levels at the same time?

    • Hi Maria,
You have already fulfilled the 5 subjects in IGCSE. Please let us know what do you plan to do in the future, so we could provide better suggestions.

You can’t do same subjects in the same examination session. For example, if you are taking A-Level Maths in May/June examination session, you can’t take IGCSE Maths in the same examination session.
