Hi Soha,
As for engineering courses, the “normal” requirements are: English, Maths, Add Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology (if you’re taking Biology related engineering). We do not know if there are any special requirements for Pakistan universities. You must check with them.
My son took 5 subjects and he score A in O leve can he enter university in usa or he has to sit for A level he had finished 2 years in community college now in usa
If I take English Language, Mathematics, Additional Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Business Studies, is that enough to do A/L? Must I do a ‘second language’ like French, and English Literature and the third science subject which is Biology? Thx

dear gise team
also I want to ask do I have to take AS level or it is up to me how far AS level is important
thanks in advance
It depends on the entry requirement from the universities. It is not up to you to decide 😉
I want to ask about core and extended does the universities accept both or they just look after extended student
It depends on the courses you would like to apply.
If you’re applying courses such as Medicine, Engineering etc., you need to obtain minimum grades of Grade B and above. Thus, you MUST take “Extended”.
If the courses that you wish to apply for require minimum grades of Grade C, then you can opt for “Core”.

Hi Amira,
It is best to check with the US university and see what they need. Sometime they might need SAT instead of A-Level. Just check.

Hi Charu,
Yes, it is enough to do A-Level. Second language is not compulsory. So does Biology.
