Hello
I’m studying IGCSE online (home study) and I’m taking 3 subjects which are: Mathematics (Extended),Physics(Extended),Chemistry(Extended). I want to know if i can study A-Level after i finish the examination. I mean can i study A-Level with just 3 subjects?
Thank you so much for the reply.
Now i decided to add: English as a second language and Computer science. as an addition to the three subjects i told you about (Maths,Chemistry,Physics).
Is that acceptable for A-Level?
and Is it acceptable for IGCSE at first?
Hello,
Is igcse considered as a foundation or A level or what?if we’re taking igcse,we don’t have to take A level then proceed to degree..or we still need to get into foundation or A level first to get into degree?
Thank you ?

Hi Ahmed,
You still need English subject in order to proceed to A-Level. English is one of the core subjects.

Yes, it fulfils the minimum requirement. You should be fine.
Just a question, what do you plan to study in A-Level and in university?
If I take 3 subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry. As a private candidate, can i study A-Level?
You need the English subject Ahmed.

Hello Anne,
After the IGCSE/equivalent, you would proceed to A-Level/equivalent. Then only you will get into universities / colleges.
However, there are some universities which accept students with excellent IGCSE results. 🙂

Hi Piyal,
There is no limitation on how many times you can retake IGCSE.
