  1. Hi IGCSE team,
I’m Trisha studying in India. Well I need to appear for the secondary checkpoint exam in the month of April. Since I’d be moving to US in March I’ll not be able to attend this exam. I just want to know if it’s possible to write the exam in a different centre (in US). If yes, what’s the procedure? A fast reply is appreciated.

    • Hi Abishan,
IGCSE exams can’t be taken online. You must write your exams with an exam centre. Unfortunately there are no free courses available.

Have you checked on the minimum required grade for English for his college? It might be he is below the minimum required grade, and thus the college is asking him to take an English course.

  4. Hi IGCSE TEAM.

I’m new to this whole IGCSE thing. What’s the differences between Core and Extended? I only intend to take Maths 0580.

If you could explain it in simple English, that would be much appreciated. My English is poor.

    Thank you.

    • Hi Haedy,
Core syllabus covers basic topics. Extended syllabus covers extra and elaborated from the basic topics.

      Got it? 🙂
