  1. Hi
Can a student who sits a private exam with british council take only the three sciences bio, chem &phy and still get an igcse certificate that will be accepted to continue As & A level.
Coz I keep reading about students having to do 5 subjects for igcse and 7 for ice. And at the same time that each subject has its own certificate.
So can one do only three subjects and yet proceed further to A levels.

    Thanks

    • Hi Munira,
The entry requirement of A-Level usually consists of English and Maths as core subjects. Please find out from the institution that you wish to enrol in, and get their confirmation on the subjects that you need in IGCSE level.

  2. Hi,
I’m a homeschooler and going to be going in high school this year. I was wondering how do I get this curriculum, and after getting it how do i show them that i have worked on a particular subject for and so n so hours to earn my credits. It would help if you could guide me.
    Thanks.

    • Hi Ruchi,
There is no “earning credits” for IGCSE. As long as you are ready for the exam, you just need to register yourself with your local British Council and sit for your exam there.

When you have completed your exams, you will be awarded with the IGCSE certificates. You may use the IGCSE certificates for your further studies.
