Dear team.
My son is preparing for O Level, I just want to confirm the subjects that he needs to pursue in IT. I pressume 5 subject should be enough. At the moment he is in year 8, doing Maths, Science and English. He is homeschooling.
Hi Tania,
He may consider these: English, Maths, Physics, Computer Science, Chemistry. You can also call up the university that he wishes to apply and get their required subjects. You would have better idea in this way.
Hi Minhaj,
It is your decision as where you would like to continue your studies. It is not only USA is available, there are hundreds of universities around the world that you can apply to 🙂

Hello Theyzaan,
You may go to the nearest British Council in the next state or country. Otherwise, you have to contact CIE and ask them where should you sit for your exam. Their website is: http://www.cie.org.uk
Hi Duke,
There is no minimum “required” subject if you are a private candidate. You may choose between 5-7 subjects based on your interest and capability. Please read above article on how to choose your subjects.
