Hello!
I know this is weird and odd but I just wanted to ask you that is your mark scheme for Accounting (9706), 2018, October-November series, Paper 31 correct? Because I think there is a problem in Question 3 Part b… the point related to additional depreciation on land and building… Can you please check it?
Thank you!
It is the exam board, CAIE, who prepares the marking scheme. Kindly contact CAIE directly: https://www.cambridgeinternational.org/ for this matter. Thank you.
Start your exam preparations by downloading the subject syllabus (https://www.igcsecentre.com/cambridge-international-as-a-level-syllabuses/) so you’ll know what is expected during the exams. Then practice, practice, and practice past exam papers. Download the past papers here: https://www.igcsecentre.com/cambridge-igcse-past-exam-papers/. We suggest that you start with the latest papers as they have the newest syllabus format and continue with the older ones date back from 5 to 10 years. Then, revise on the most common mistakes that you always seem to make.
Upon checking the Examiner’s Report, it states that candidates need to read the whole question carefully to ensure that their responses are fulfilling the demands of each one. For example in Paper 1, to achieve full marks the question must be addressed in full. The essay (final question) requires four evaluation points to be in depth (two strengths and two weaknesses) with at least one of these about the named issue.
